Festival Details

Wild Film Fest will be held on Saturday 23rd March 2019 at the Penryn Campus (Daphne DuMaurier Building) in Cornwall. This evening event will feature the best student-produced photography and filmmaking from across the country. You will also find our top photography entries displayed in our open gallery! There will be screenings of the top film entries, and an awards ceremony where the winners of each competition and category will be announced and presented with their awards.

The day event will feature guest speakers Nina Constable and Jack Perks, wildlife film makers who will be telling us about their careers and favourite moments, and we are excited to announce that Sophie Pavelle and Hannah Stitfall will be our keynotes and hosts for the evening! See the event timetable for timings of their talks, as well as other exhibits during the day.

Follow the Wild Film Fest signs to Car Park C (first one on your right after the barriers) if you are driving to campus. If you are taking the bus, follow signs to the Daphne DuMaurier Building.

Walking directions from the campus bus stops: Walk towards the Exchange Building, and enter via the revolving doors. Head up the stairs all the way to the top of the building, then exit and turn left. Walk past the entrance to the College of Life and Environmental Sciences and turn left again, which takes you to the long walkway with some stairs heading into the Daphne DuMaurier Building where Wild Film fest 2019 is.

Walking directions from Car Park C: Leave the car park via the entrance which you drove in. Cross the road using the pedestrian crossing and follow the path that leads under the bridged-building. Continue walking until you have passed the College of Life and Environmental Sciences building entrance, and turn left. Follow this walkway all the way round, and you will end up in the DDM building where Wild Film Fest is.
